Two grapplers in black and blue gis working from the mat at Ascended BJJ, jiu-jitsu characters on the wall behind them

Marketing for BJJ gyms.

Your future white belts are scared of getting crushed on day one. We write the ads, build the site and answer every lead in seconds so they walk in anyway. Proven at Gracie St. Nicolas, Ascended BJJ and True North.

Nobody signs up for jiu-jitsu because of a price.

They sign up the day they believe a stranger on a mat will look after them. Our BJJ ads sell that moment: the first roll, the patient coach, the room that laughs with you.

01 The buyer

An adult with a fear.

The BJJ buyer is rarely a fighter. It is a 34-year-old who has watched a few triangle chokes on YouTube and wonders whether they are too old, too heavy or too late. Or it is a parent who wants a kid to hold their ground without throwing a punch.

Both are anxious about the same thing: the first ten minutes on the mat. So we never lead with medals, match footage or a black belt pinning a purple. We lead with the beginner class, and we filter the leads with a few qualifying questions so your coaches spend the trial on people who will stay.

Adults 18 to 48, plus the parents of kids 5 to 12.

02 The angle

Sell the first roll.

Our ads are meant to grab attention, not to explain the art. The hook names the fear, the photo shows real people at your gym, and the offer is one free session with a reason to sign up that same day.

No prices on the ad, no prices on the site. Price is a conversation for the mat, after they have felt the room.

04 The site

Three gyms. Three sites. All booking.

We built the websites for all three BJJ gyms on this page. Each one is fast on a phone, puts the free class above the fold, and hands every form straight to follow-up. Ascended BJJ went from 50 to 103 students in three months, and True North added 20 new students in its first month.

05 The reading

Keep them past blue.

The numbers, unedited.

Real schools, real counts, straight from the owners and their case studies. Every one of them started with a free month.

Asked by BJJ owners.

The questions we hear on calls with Brazilian jiu-jitsu school owners. Bring the rest to yours.

Yes. A jiu-jitsu buyer is usually an adult who is nervous about the first class, so the ads, the site and the follow-up are written to lower that fear: beginner classes first, real students in the photos, and a free session instead of a price. Kids BJJ is sold to the parent, which we cover on the kids programs page.

Beginners. Medals and match footage attract the few people who already train. The fundamentals class, a patient coach and a room full of normal adults is what gets a new white belt to book. Your competition team belongs on the site as proof, not in the ad.

Yes, and they run as separate campaigns with separate messages. At Gracie Jiu Jitsu St. Nicolas the kids program went from 12 to 55 students and the adult program from 10 to 60.

Not always. If your site is slow on a phone or buries the free class, we rebuild it inside the free month. We built the sites for True North, Ascended BJJ and Gracie St. Nicolas because each one needed a clear path from the ad to a booked class.

Most gyms see new leads within 48 to 72 hours of launch. True North added 20 new students in its first month and Ascended BJJ added 22, depending on the schedule and how quickly each lead was answered.

Your mats are next.

A 30-minute call about your Brazilian jiu-jitsu school: your buyer, your offer, your area. Then we run the whole system for a month, free.
